Our ceramic tableware, eggcups and money boxes, are handmade for us in Sri Lanka by a small, family-run company. The ornamental items are handmade in the Wiltshire workshop by Hannah. The kitchen textiles are printed and made in the UK with the exception of the Peacock oven gloves which are produced in India.
Yes, please go to our Stockists page for details. Please be aware that stockists might not carry everything we sell on this website, so it is a good idea to call first and ask if they have what you are looking for.
What do I need to know about handmade products?
As many of our products are handmade we cannot guarantee that the product you receive will be exactly the same as the one you see on screen. However it will always be very similar and we strive to keep them as true to the picture as possible.
All of the tableware is microwave safe, all items can go in the dishwasher, but the print might fade over time if you use powerful dishwasher detergents. We use Ecover and it is fine, with no fading. We don’t recommend the eggcups, salt and peppers and moneyboxes for the dishwasher, as they will collect water whichever way you place them. Our tea towels, aprons and oven gloves are fully machine washable, and have washing instructions on the labels. The ornamental ceramics can be wiped with a clean damp cloth, we don’t recommend immersion in water.
