How to add some WOW!! to your walls: just add our Ceramic Flying Trios
This year, our Flying Trios have done so well that they've become our best-sellers. The retro ceramic Flying Ducks are number one and are currently totally sold out. This also coincides with my 35th year in business, and I've just recently released a limited edition Flying Swift Trio to celebrate.
The process of creating a flying trio
Creating the flying trios is an incredibly precarious process that takes days (especially when I make them in my little studio), with so many ways they can go wrong, even in the final stages. Ceramics can be a real science, so when the birds survive all of that, you've got something quite precious. The new limited edition swifts are all handmade by me from start to finish in my workshop and coloured with a spray underglaze in either powder pink or jade green. I will also be launching my flying Blackbird Trio next month, made from a gorgeous black clay... Stay tuned!
How to hang your ceramic birds on the wall.
I'm really happy that the trios have been so loved by people this year, so I thought I'd dedicate a blog to how to make the most of them. Read on, and I'll go through all the instructions on how to hang your new trio of flying birds. I have also included some suggestions for different ways to style and arrange them.

These collectable pieces add interest, colour, and flair to any space and are made to be heirloom-worthy. Here are my tips for showcasing and incorporating these extra-special Hannah Turner designs in your home:

- Select an accent wall: Choose a wall in your home that could use a bold and eye-catching focal point. This could be a living room wall, a hallway, or even a bedroom accent wall.
-
Arrange the trio creatively: Place the ceramic flying birds on the wall in an artistic and dynamic arrangement. Consider positioning them in a diagonal or arrow formation or in a way that suggests movement, as if they are truly flying across the wall. You can test where to position them using paper templates before you commit.
-
Choose complementary colours: Consider the existing colour scheme of the room when placing the flying birds. Ensure that the colours of the birds complement or contrast with the surrounding decor to make them stand out. Our Flying Owl Trios are great for a pop of vibrant colour, and they come in Burnt Orange, Pink, Teal Blue, and Jade Green.
-
Proper lighting: Illuminate the trio with lighting, whether that be spotlights or accent lights, to highlight the details and colours of the birds and cast some interesting shadows!
-
Maintain spacing: Ensure there is adequate spacing between each bird, so they don't feel cluttered. This helps maintain a sense of balance and prevents the wall from looking overcrowded.
