Saying goodbye to summer doesn't have to be sad!
I'm looking forward to some fresher-feeling air, misty mornings, mushroom picking, and all that cosiness by the fire. If you too want to embrace nature and its ever-changing seasons and create the cosiest nest possible this Autumn, we have some gorgeous ceramics in warm hues that really reflect the beauty of this time of year. We'll also introduce some brand new designs that are perfect for the season. Think rustling orange leaves and all the creatures that scurry and flutter amongst them.
Hibernating Hedgehogs
First off, these adorable Ceramic Hedgehog Salt and Pepper Shakers are perfect for the season! Here to warm the hearts of dinner guests with their beady eyes and sweet button noses, these little guys will be getting ready to hibernate with you. Browse the full collection of money boxes, egg cups, trinket dishes and planters here.
The Hedgehogs also look great with our Badger collection, too!
Red Squirrels
The UK's native Red Squirrel comes in Salt and Pepper form, don't y'know!? You certainly can't get more autumnal than this. We all wish we could see more of them hopping between branches in the wild. But for now, this
Salt and Pepper set will bring some chirpy forest flavour to the dinner table. Check out the
Red Squirrel Hanging Decoration too!
Toadstools
There's something magical about the woodland in Autumn... the smell of the air, the colour of the leaves... For me, it's all the weird and wonderful mushrooms that start growing out of the decaying foliage. Trying to find and identify them makes a walk so much more fun! If you're a fungi-fan too, our ceramic
Toadstool kitchen designs are brilliantly collectable for a seasonal, yet retro-feeling table. The
Toadstool Salt and Peppers are the real stars, and now that we'll be having more Sunday roasts, they look wonderful sitting amongst plates, serving bowls, candles, and beside a seasonal centrepiece!
Keep your eyes peeled later this Autumn for some totally new designs:
We have gone full Autumn with a Fox Trinket Dish, curled up looking snuggly, and just perfect for a dressing table with low lights and candles. And for those cold, misty mornings, our new Fox Egg Cup will also be very fitting on your breakfast table, styled with the Wildlife Spoons and our Badger Salt and Peppers.
For later in the season, the new Hare Egg Cup is going to be perfect for the lead-up to Halloween. The hare is a mysterious animal in the UK, often associated with witchcraft and shapeshifting… and this one's taken the form of an Egg Cup, for now… Bring some witchy magic to breakfast! Also, look out for our Lion and Wild Boar Egg Cups arriving in October!
So, maybe with a home full of ceramics that embrace the season, it won't be so bad letting go of summer (at least this is what I'm telling myself!)
