Transform any plain wall into a captivating conversation piece with this striking, handmade ceramic Flying Blackbird Trio by Hannah Turner; a contemporary twist on the classic vintage flying ducks!

The inspiration for this charming flock came from Hannah's own garden in Wiltshire, where a lively group of five resident blackbirds kept her company in the veggie patch. Whether they were hunting for freshly turned worms, curiously watching her every move, or cheekily stealing her strawberries and raspberries, their daily antics stole her heart. To capture their vibrant spirit, Hannah crafted this beautiful trio using the same rich black clay featured in her vibrant mug collection - and was really excited with the result!

With two holes in the back of each piece, a handy hanging template and full fitting instructions included, we have made these birds an absolute breeze to put up on your wall.

Lovingly handmade in Sri Lanka from high-fired stoneware ceramic with a satin glaze and meticulous decal decoration. Comes beautifully presented in a recycled card gift box and packaged in eco-friendly and plastic-free materials.

Not suitable for the dishwasher.

Approximate size:

Large 18cm long
Medium 15.5cm long
Small 11cm long.

Hannah's ceramic tableware, planters, money boxes, trinket dishes and hanging decorations are handmade for us in Sri Lanka by a small, family-run company.

The highly-skilled workers are responsible for hand-finishing each of the designs. This involves cleaning up the raw clay as it comes out of the mould, hand-painting or sponging the under-glaze colours, carefully transporting and loading into tightly-packed kilns, and hand-decorating with screen-printed decals that add that final bit of character to each design.

Entrusting some of her signature pieces to expert hands in Sri Lanka gives Hannah the time to work on new and exciting design ideas in her Wiltshire studio.
