The 8th of June is World Ocean Day! It seems that now more than ever, the health of our oceans, rivers, and lakes is of utmost importance. The organisation behind this is continuing to pressure global leaders to commit to their 30 x 30 commitments (to protect 30% of the world's land, fresh waters and oceans by 2030).

Although we are a small business compared to the larger organisations and companies that contribute enormously to water pollution, we have always been passionate about doing what we can to mitigate our effects on land and water pollution (read our Earth Day blog and our sustainability sections on our Net Zero journey as well as How It's Made for more info)

One of the things we're happy with as a business is our rule of 100% plastic-free packaging. Plastic waste is notoriously terrible for the health of our water systems, oceans and all the animals that are affected by it. So, if you're concerned about the planet and have had trouble in the past finding a sustainable gift company, we'd like to reassure you that, along with our net-zero commitments, we look closely at our plastic/waste output!

With all that being said, if you love the planet, the oceans, our designs... and fish, we have a restock on Sunday morning. All our classic wall-mounted Fish will be back! These ornamental fish designs are all made by Hannah in her workshop and come in some gorgeously bold colours, with the addition of brand new cobalt blue and yellow. We think they look best hung up in the bathroom or kitchen.
