This Autumn we'll be welcoming some brand-new designs, so I thought I'd write you a guide for what's fresh out of the kiln! Say hello to Badgers, more Wild Boars, Foxes and Cockatoos as well as a set of 4 new animal Spoons (hare, fox, badger, squirrel).

Most of these new designs are adding to the recent re-wilding theme that already includes Red Squirrels, Boars, Hedgehogs, and Wolves. I am very passionate about re-wilding in the UK. It is a tragedy that so many of our native animals, who have inspired stories and crafts for centuries, are suffering or have died out at our hands. Alongside my support for re-wilding campaigners and doing what I can personally to help, I love the idea of immortalising them in my own designs. Let us never forget about these beautiful creatures!

Badgers

Joining the woodland wildlife gang is the brand-new Badger Egg Cup and Salt and Pepper Shakers. With striking monochrome snouts and mottled, hand-sponged bodies, the badger collection will be a subtly stylish accompaniment to any kitchen collection.

Spoons

I love coming up with ideas for spoons, I think they make such precious and curious objects that are both beautiful and useful! These spoon sets are also lovely as wedding, housewarming or anniversary gifts. Just like our other sets, each spoon has a different character. This time I've created a Hare, Fox, Badger and Red Squirrel. Cute!

Cockatoos

Not a part of the re-wilding collection obviously! Joining the flock of Pigeons, Toucans, Ducks, Puffins, and Owls are these elegant flying Cockatoo Wall Trios. Their snowy white bodies are detailed with subtle grey to mark the feathers which are then coloured with vibrant yellow on their wings and crest (as well as a sunny little spot on their cheeks). I also thought it would be fun to show the crests in different stages of expansion on each bird.
